PART 2—The Election Probably Won’t Be Over on November 3 (and How Churches Can Respond)

    ByShaunti Feldhahn October 1, 2020October 1, 2020

A friend recently told me about her nephew’s much-delayed wedding. First, it was going to be in April 2020. Then when the pandemic shut everything down and their scattered family couldn’t safely gather, they postponed it to June. Then August. And now, my friend just reported, the couple has booked a date in November. But…

The start of Lent is just one day. But it is one d The start of Lent is just one day. But it is one day that we can ask ourselves: Do my outward actions match my inner relationship with Christ and the fact that the Holy Spirit lives in me?
As we head into this Lenten season, I want to ask As we head into this Lenten season, I want to ask you something gently and personally: is God drawing your heart back to Him? Maybe life has been full, or heavy, or simply distracting—and you sense you're not as close to Him as you'd like to be.

Over these 40 days, let's live what we believe—and keep our eyes on Him. ✝️
